Planning today for your tomorrow

tcaw-participantsYou’ve reached the stage of life when you can truly (finally?) focus on yourself. What does the future hold for you? Does it include travelling to places on your bucket list? Spending time with your grandchildren? Maybe you’re considering a second career or, if your career is winding down, perhaps you want to volunteer your time or take up a new hobby?

Here at Iona, we like to say, it’s your time to “Take Charge, Age Well.” In other words, it’s time to focus on your goals for the future — away from housework, errands, aging parents, adult children, or the countless other activities that interfere with planning for the next stage of life.

Iona can help you get started, and be there down the line.

Our experts help you figure out how to make the right financial decisions and find the support you might need in the future. We can help you manage any stressful transitions, unexpected changes, or loss. We know the right questions to ask, and have the answers for them.

We offer:

  • How-to seminars and peer discussions. Through Iona’s Take Charge/Age Well Academy, you’ll join peers and experts for guidance, discussions, and presentations to help you focus and start planning now. Our popular classes for proactive adults like you touch on critical topics like: making a move, managing your finances, preparing healthy meals for your aging, aging without traditional support networks, and decluttering.
  • Consultations with Iona Care Management. These private meetings cover what you need now and in the future. You’ll discuss your history and current situation, ask questions, and leave with next steps and referrals. Popular topics include the planning process for aging in place, moving to a senior living community, or deciding between those two options. Should you want it, our team is also able to be on-call in the case of an emergency to meet you at the hospital or a rehab facility, communicate with your medical providers and any family or friends who should be kept informed, and coordinate your care.
