Helpline

Every weekday from 9 AM – 5 PM, Iona’s Helpline Specialists are listening to concerns, answering questions, and connecting callers to the resources, services, and programs they need.

Questions run the gamut: Are you trying to find out if Medicare pays for long-term care? How to support your mom who is being discharged from the hospital? Where to go to stay active in the community now that you’re retired? No concern is too large or too small. It’s why we’re here.

If you have an aging- or caregiving-related question, please fill out this form below. You can also call (202) 895-9448, and ask for the Helpline, or email info@iona.org. If you have an emergency, call 911.

Iona’s offices and programs will be closed from Monday, December 25, 2023, to Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of the holidays and to provide a week of respite for staff.

For a list of community resources, please visit the Help During the Holidays page. Staff will not be checking emails and voicemails during this time. We will respond after we reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
