Promoting healthy aging through the arts and creative expression is an important aspect of our work.

The Lois & Richard England Gallery at Iona
Dedicated to Lois and Richard England, longtime supporters of Iona and the arts, our Gallery visually demonstrates Iona’s commitment to promoting healthy aging and creative expression.
Our building features artworks by talented artists from the area who are 60+ as a way to showcase how our community members age well and live well — and continue to creatively express themselves. Learn more about our former featured artists.
Each spring, the gallery features a show of artwork created by participants in our adult day health center. This display, which includes biographical information about each artist, is a marvelous showcase of resilience, talent, and creative expression.
In addition to these shows, donated artworks by well-known artists such as Willem de Looper and Arlene Raven, friends of Iona, former Guest Artists, and participants in our Wellness & Arts Center enliven Iona’s building as part of a permanent collection.
