Your family member may spend the day with us, but the Wellness & Arts Center is also a service for you.
When you need to run errands, go to work, or simply take time for yourself, our Center is there to keep your loved one active. When you have a concern about a change in health or mood, our experienced team is ready to answer questions or give you updates. And when you need additional referrals, our Wellness & Arts social worker can direct you to the best resources.
We also offer support groups and other programs specifically designed for caregivers, and one-on-one consultations with team members who know you, your family, and your unique circumstances.
I have time for my own things, to clean the house, rest, and not worry where he is because he’s in a safe place with a lot of activities. He paints, children visit, pets are brought into the Center. At the end of the day, he holds my hand, looks into my eyes, smiles at me. I have a husband I thought would no longer exist.”
– Elena Tscherny, caregiver and wife of Wellness & Arts Center participant
