Capital Pride 2019

Join Iona on the historic Pennsylvania Avenue for the 44th Annual Capital Pride Festival. Come for a day full of entertainment, music, food, drink, education, and celebration. Additionally, Iona’s booth will be up from 12:00 – 7:00 PM, and we would love to have you stop by and say hello!

Capital Pride 2019: shhhOUT! Past, Present, and Proud

At our booth, we’ll have our popular interactive activity asking people to share advice to their younger selves. We’ll also be snapping photos of attendees proudly sharing their age to fit Iona’s Pride slogan, “Pride. No Matter Your Age.” It’s going to be a fun day!

Also, if you’re able and willing to help, we’re seeking volunteers to help set-up, take-down, and staff our table during the festival. Shifts are 1-2 hours from 10:30 AM-7:00 PM. Please contact Susan Messina at smessina@iona.org or (202) 895-9401 by May 31 if you’d like to volunteer.
