Beginning July 19th, Iona and the D.C. Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) will be providing free boxed lunches and activities at Iona’s Tenleytown office (4125 Albemarle Street NW) for DC residents aged 60 and older.

Stay for coffee, lunch, and engaging activities like improv comedy and discussion groups. Or, feel free to take your lunch to go!

REGISTRATION IS FREE AND REQUIRED. Please sign up at www.aroundtowndc.org/. Scroll down the page until you see “Upcoming Events.” Then, click the “In Person Events” tab on the right hand side and select the lunch program day of your choice.

(Note: You must sign up for each day of the week you wish to attend. Once you sign up for a specific day–e.g., Monday, July 19– you are signed up for all following Mondays until Labor Day, when the program ends. If you sign up for Friday, July 23rd, you are automatically signed up for all Fridays.

The active wellness program at St. Albans is scheduled to resume after Labor Day.
