New Volunteer Orientation - Adult Day Health, Wellness and Arts Center
Thursday, December 9, 2010, 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Iona
This orientation will prepare new volunteers for support roles in Iona's Day Center.
New Volunteer Companion Training
Saturday, December 4, 2010, 12:30 - 2:30 pm.
This training is co-facilitated by Donna Tanner, an Iona Social Worker and Lylie Fisher, the Volunteer Program Manager. New volunteers will learn about the stages of aging and specific challenges that seniors face. Participants receive guidance on how to be an effective and resourceful volunteer companion.
