Iona's Wellness & Arts Center

Iona’s Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Wellness & Arts Center is a state-of-the-art day program that provides companionship, nursing care, safety, and opportunities for individual expression through a range of enriching activities. Since 1986, the Center has been a place where older adults aged 60 and above are valued, respected, and supported.

We welcome individuals with physical and social needs.

  • Our person-centered individualized programs are geared toward caring for and engaging people with memory loss, diabetes, stroke, Parkinson’s and other chronic conditions.
  • Experienced nurses and certified nursing assistants provide timely and appropriate personal care, as well as health monitoring, assessment, and intervention.
  • A busy daily calendar includes multi-level programming for people of varying cognitive and physical ablilities.
  • Our full-time art therapist offers opportunities for creative expression through daily group and individual sessions in the art studio.

Caregiver also benefit from the Center.

  • Regular communication with our nurses and social worker ensure you are kept informed of your loved one’s successes and challenges.
  • Educational programs, support groups, and one-on-one consultations are available.
  • Respite time for caregivers like you to focus on what you need to do to care for yourself.

The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. A heart-heathly and diabetes-friendly lunch and snack are served, and a variety of transportation options are available.
